We are building a platform and apps that will help people with chronic illnesses live their best lives. Our first release is for people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) for 2 main reasons: 1. Our co-founder Ashwani Dhawan was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2019 and, 2. PD affects over 8 million people around the world and growing fast. It is also the most complex of chronic conditions with a huge number of symptoms. Symptoms span from the cardinal symptoms of tremors, stiffness and slowness when it comes to movements, to the so-called motor symptoms, but PD also has a large number of non-motor symptoms, including chronic stress and anxiety, apathy, fatigue, pain, sleep problems, cognitive issues, speech issues, swallowing issues, constipation, etc. We believe if we can provide relief to PD patients, we will have a strong foundation to help people with other chronic diseases.

All of our recommended interventions termed as Mindfulness Based Interventions (MBI’s), are science-backed and have hundreds of RCTs (Random Control Trials), and Meta Studies as well as Longitudinal studies validating the efficacy of these interventions in reducing PD Symptoms and some slowing down PD Progression. Calm, Healthy, Happy is introducing the first app to combine PD specific exercises with mindfulness and other meditations easy-access one-stop app. We believe that combining the Meditations with PD specific exercise regimens can have a powerful cumulative effect.
